At Road Trail Running, we aim to make your shopping experience as seamless and secure as possible by offering a range of convenient payment options. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. These trusted platforms provide flexibility and peace of mind when making your purchase.
All product prices and shipping fees displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), as required by Australian law. There are no hidden charges—what you see at checkout is the total amount you’ll pay, unless stated otherwise. Please note that Road Trail Running operates as a Cash’n’Carry retailer, and currently we do not accept cash payments or electronic funds transfers (EFT). All orders must be completed using one of the available digital payment methods through our online checkout system. Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received and verified. We do not hold or reserve items for unpaid or pending transactions. If payment fails or is not completed, the order will be cancelled automatically, and items will be returned to inventory. Deliberate non-payment or suspected fraudulent activity may result in the cancellation of future orders or suspension of any associated user account. For your protection and ours, all transactions are encrypted and processed through secure gateways. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that all details provided are accurate and up to date. We’re committed to transparency, security, and delivering a hassle-free checkout experience. If you have any questions about payments or encounter issues during checkout, our customer support team is here to help.Shipping and Delivery
At Road Trail Running, we currently use Australia Post Standard and Express services to deliver your order safely and efficiently, with the option to select your preferred shipping method at the checkout. The shipping fee displayed at checkout is final—there are no additional freight charges applied after purchase. All parcels are fully insured, giving you peace of mind from dispatch to delivery.
All orders are dispatched withing 2 business days and delivery transit times align with those outlined on the Australia Post website, though we recommend allowing extra time during peak seasons such as public holidays, major sales events, and the lead-up to Christmas. Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email, allowing you to follow your parcel’s progress from our door to yours. Should a parcel be delayed or suspected lost, an investigation will be conducted in conjunction with Australia Post. If the parcel is confirmed as lost or missing, we will arrange a replacement order at no cost to you. We stand by our commitment to ensuring your goods reach you safely and as expected. For deliveries where no one is available to receive the parcel, Australia Post may leave it in a safe location and capture a photographic record of the delivery. In these cases, Road Trail Running considers the order to be successfully completed. If the delivery location is deemed unsafe, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest Australia Post outlet, and a collection notification may be issued. At this point, we also consider the delivery to be fulfilled. It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the parcel within five business days. If the parcel is returned to us due to non-collection, a re-delivery fee may apply. We do our best to ensure every parcel arrives promptly and securely, but please understand that delivery transit timelines are ultimately the responsibility of Australia Post once your order leaves our premises. If you encounter any issues with your delivery, our support team is here to assist and advocate on your behalf. By placing an order with Road Trail Running, you agree to these shipping terms and acknowledge your responsibility in ensuring accurate delivery information and timely collection of your parcel when required.Refunds and Returns

Liability and Disclaimers
At Road Trail Running, we are committed to offering quality products and reliable service; however, by using our website and purchasing from our store, you acknowledge and accept the following limitations and disclaimers relating to our liability.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, Road Trail Running will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that may result from the use of our website or products. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or injury resulting from improper use or failure of road and trail running gear. For example, we are not liable if a customer experiences discomfort or injury while wearing a product that is incorrectly used, misfitted, or not suited to their individual conditions or terrain.
Our website is provided on an “as is” basis. While we strive to maintain accurate, up-to-date content and a seamless online experience, we do not guarantee that the site will be free from errors, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your personal expectations. Similarly, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, such as improved performance or injury prevention, from the use of any product sold on our platform.
Our total liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise, is limited to the amount paid by you for the product or service in question. We do not assume liability for damages beyond the cost of the goods purchased, even if such damages arise from misuse, delayed delivery, or other indirect factors.
This limitation of liability aligns with standard industry practice for online retailers of clothing, footwear, and sports accessories. While we take every reasonable measure to ensure product quality, accurate descriptions, and timely fulfilment, ultimate responsibility lies with the user to ensure correct usage, suitability, and care of all running gear purchased.
Nothing in this section is intended to override or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and we remain fully committed to our obligations under all applicable legislation.
If you have any concerns about product performance, safety, or website functionality, we welcome you to contact our customer service team for assistance.
Termination and Suspension of a User Account:
Road Trail Running reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, in circumstances where there has been a breach of our Terms and Conditions or inappropriate use of our website. This measure is taken to protect the integrity of our platform, ensure fair use, and safeguard our customers and business.
Common reasons for account suspension or termination include, but are not limited to:
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity, such as attempted payment fraud or misuse of discount codes
- Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration or checkout
- Repeated failure to make payment or chargebacks without valid reason
- Abuse of return or refund policies, including returning used or damaged items under false claims
- Engaging in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour toward staff or other users
- Attempts to tamper with the website, access restricted areas, or interfere with normal operations
In the event of a suspension or termination, the affected user may lose access to their account, including saved preferences, order history, and loyalty benefits (if applicable). Additionally, the user may be prevented from placing future orders, participating in promotional offers, or accessing other account-specific features.
Road Trail Running will make reasonable efforts to contact the user regarding any concerns before permanent action is taken, except in cases where immediate suspension or termination is required to prevent harm, fraud, or further violation of our terms.
This approach is consistent with industry standards across eCommerce platforms, particularly in the sportswear, footwear, and outdoor equipment sectors, where fairness and safety are key.
If you believe your account has been suspended or terminated in error, we encourage you to reach out to our customer support team. We are happy to investigate and, where appropriate, reinstate access once the matter has been resolved.
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, secure, and trustworthy shopping environment for all.
Dispute Resolution
At Road Trail Running, we are committed to delivering a positive experience for every customer. If a dispute arises between you and our team regarding a product, service, or interaction, we encourage you to contact our customer support team in the first instance. Most concerns can be resolved promptly and informally through open and respectful communication.
Should a matter remain unresolved, we will work with you to pursue a fair outcome through alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation. Mediation allows both parties to discuss the issue with the help of an impartial third party, aiming to reach a mutually acceptable solution without the need for legal proceedings. This method is widely used across the Australian eCommerce sector and helps maintain trust while avoiding unnecessary legal costs and delays.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions or mediation, either party may seek resolution through arbitration or legal proceedings, as appropriate. Any legal action arising out of or relating to the use of our website, transactions, or terms will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any proceedings must be brought before the courts of New South Wales.
This policy is consistent with industry-standard practices for Australian retailers in the clothing, footwear, and running accessories sector. Our goal is always to resolve issues efficiently, respectfully, and fairly—because customer satisfaction remains at the heart of everything we do.

Road Trail Running reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, as necessary to reflect changes in our business operations, legal obligations, or customer needs. These updates may relate to areas such as payment options, shipping policies, returns processes, or website functionality.
In line with common eCommerce industry practice, we will provide a minimum notice period of 14 days for any significant changes to our Terms and Conditions. This allows customers sufficient time to review and understand any updates before they take effect.
When changes are made, we will notify users through one or more of the following methods:
- An email notification, sent to the email address associated with your account (if applicable)
- A prominent banner or alert displayed on our website homepage or checkout pages
- A clearly marked notice at the top of the Terms and Conditions page, outlining the date and nature of the changes
We encourage all users to review our Terms and Conditions regularly to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities. By continuing to use the website after the changes come into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
This approach is consistent with policies used by leading online retailers in the clothing and running gear industry and reflects our commitment to transparency, fairness, and open communication with our customers.
